This recycling scheme commenced on June 22nd 2005

Since June 2009 we have collected and recycled 6,160kg's of dry-cell batteries. In terms of the actual number of batteries we have recycled, 6160kg equates to over 300,000 'AA' batteries.
Since the commencement of the scheme in June 2005 you've helped us recycle the equivalent of over 1 million AA batteries.
