| Fridges & Freezers | Household fridge/freezer recycling is FREE for residents of Douglas, Onchan, Braddan, Laxey, Lonan and Santon ONLY. Strict limit of 2 fridges/freezers per household per calender year. Residents must show photo ID and a utility bill to prove residency in the aforementioned areas. Without this proof, the fridge will not be accepted for recycling. Recycling costs are recovered through the rates. Residents from other areas are not permitted to take their fridges or fridge/freezers to the Eastern Civic Amenity Site and must use the Northern, Western or Southern Civic Amenity sites, or home collection service. |
